I have a HTC Touch Diamon and the Oil quare slick appearance under fluorescent lighting. I notice it after left my PDA inside my car that was parked unter sunlight. The PDA was no directly exposed to the sunlight.

Someone have any solution ???

I agree it is common among LCD screens for phones. I beleive you can see it also with polarized sunglasses.

I had the EXACT SAME issue...so it must be a fault in the lcd......they replaced it for free

had this on 3 HTC touches, now have it again on the TP, all have been replaced free in-store.

Just got off the with sprint, they are vary sorry about the rainbow spot on my TP and are shipping me a New TP

Had my HTC Touch Pro just replaced. I thought while I was waiting for my Sprite Restore I would see how other individuals made out in regards to this issue.

The general consensus is "replace it or live with it."

I am on my 5th TP now and only one has had the rainbow colored slick.

That also happened to be the only one that I put a wet screen protector on. Even the alcohol won't totally dry under the screen protector - it's not made to breathe and let it evaporate.

I just have a sneaking suspicion that it's screen protectors applied wet that cause it.

i wish i knew that...my old TP had that issue!! but my phone was stolen so i had to call it in and pay $100....](*,)](*,)
