Re: Adding a city for weather help
If you read the sticky posts in the Touch Pro forum, you would have known how to do all of this correctly. :P

Re: Touch Pro Weather Fix HELP!!
I fixed my weather by using %20 in a space and that got rid of the IDS_STATE_0 and the weather started working, anyone that is using a city that has a space in the name you have to us e %20 in place of the space and it should work, thats what worked for mine.

Re: Touch Pro Weather Fix HELP!!
I have a Sprint TP so I'm not sure if that makes any difference. If the weather database is "in ROM" as my screen shot shows, how can the weather database editor change that? And if it is in ROM, how can it be changed?
I tried the 1.1 version of Weather Database also 1.2 version. Both say thay cannot change the write protection on the database. So I am still stuck. Has anyone with a Sprint Touch Pro been able to add their city using the weather database editor? Thanks again. Chris |

Re: Touch Pro Weather Fix HELP!!
I load this app ( modified 1.1 and my Weather app on my Verizon TP2 immediately ceases to work - I got the the weather app and it recycles Touchflow startup and brings me to the home screen. I remove the DB editor, reboot and all works fine - but the edits I made to the City DB are not there when I try to add a city. Can someone direct me to the Registry edit thia app is makign so I can manually make a change to show the proper city?
Thanks Styg |
