how was my post negative? i simply said to read the post above you because it was asked at least 2 other times. if you read the thread before asking, you wouldn't have had to.

Link has been restored thanks to Baffles for keeping a copy of the original post and being kind enough to repost his thread. I have learned something today this will never happen again. If you gave Baffles a thank you in his first thread please re thank him in the new one all those thank yous were lost when I deleted the post.

Is it mentioned anywhere in the forum in an easy to find place that standard mini-usb cables will work for syncing and charging the phone and that the odd shape usb port on the phone is that way so that it can support its proprietary tv-out and headphone stuff.

I only learned today that a standard mini-usb cable that works with a bunch of my devices fits perfectly and will allow me to charge and sync the phone with it.

I was about to make the mistake of buying several new sync cables and chargers until I discovered this.
