Cradle Dock SYNC+Battery for Sprint HTC Touch Pro $30

So here is the scoop on Needbatteries.com:
They back ordered my batteries after holding the order for 7 days. They claim that it will be another 7 to 10 days before they get any in . . .
Wanna bet that they have them but did not want to sell me them at their posted price of $12.95!
I will keep the order active to see if they actually send me 2 and to see if they work but for now I am looking for OEM!
BTW: Sprint still does not have a replacement battery!

I also ordered a cradle e/w 2nd Bat charger, car cradle and a stylus for my Sprint Touch Pro from a Hong Kong eBay: lee262Online. He has a lot of HTC accessories in his eBay store.

It took about a week but they just arrived. The desk cradle is fine, although it looks like it may be for a GSM Touch Pro because I needed to put a little padding behind the handset because there was about a 1/16th gap. No biggie but you do not want to bend the USB connector on either device. It has 2 plugs in the back; one for AC and the other for mini-USB. It looks like it is wired for the AC to do all the charging on both the device and the 2nd battery holder. USB appears to be only for sync. It has 2 LEDs; one for the phone and the second for the 2nd battery. Blue is for charging and green is for charged.
However it came with a European power plug. I sent him an email, we will see what happens.

The stylus is definately for a different device. The width of the plastic end piece (eraser end) is way too wide to fit into the slot.

The car cradel is great!. It is hard wired direcly at both the cigarette lighter and cradle ends. The cig lighter is big but has a speaker, a volume control, a std 3.5mm plug for a headset, and a send/end call button. There is a mic in the base of the cradle. Nice package although it is going to be difficult to hard wire it into the car. Do not know if there is any echo or noise cancellation, more later.

I will repost when he gets back to me on the power cord and the stylus.
BTW: no instructions, warrenty stuff or naything on anything . . . .

Any chance anyone has tried to use one of these with a cdma TP? I would love to have this charging cradle and transmitter into the speaker system in one but I am afraid to order from Hong Kong as I am afraid it will only be compatible with GSM. Thanks

Unfortunately, the car cradle from Lee262 on eBay just crapped out on me. Apparently for no good reason!

He has asked me to send it back to evaluate the problem and it is going to cost me $15 to send it to Hong Kong and I do not know if he will do anything about the shipping cost. I had to slighty modify it for the Sprint Touch Pro by removing a portion fo the foam backing which got in the way of the camera plastic on the back. This allowed it to go into the cradle easier.

Although it worked well before it stopped working I just went to ProClips

and ordered one from them. They have several choices; from one with no cable (need a cigarette lighter mini USB cable), to one with a built in cigarette connector and one with a direct hardwire cable for 12Vdc. There is no listing for the Sprint Touch Pro on their menu so you have to go to the HTC section and look for Touch Pro (CDMA). The cradle does not have all the bells and whistles like a speaker phone but at least it is a reliable company who I have done business with in the past.

I already have their car mount, and a double bracket which alows two mounts. The second mount is a Garmin GPS.

The only reason I ordered from Lee262 is that Proclip's did not have one at the time I purchased the phone.
