So does arcsoft work without modifying anything [or changing settings] directly after in install?

This method is off the chain, works like a charm too...:-({|=

I don't know whether the picturemail problem is due to dotnet 3.5, but there is a way to choose which version of dotnet to use for an app. It is the 'dotnet configuration' cab. Install it to the device, then run the app.

The 'Device Policy' tab allows you to set which version of dotnet to use by default.

The 'Application Policy' tab allows you to set which version of dotnet to use for a particular application.

You could set the device policy to use 3.5 and put the picture mail app in the application policy tab to run with 2.0.

This came from Microsoft - it was either in the .msi install or a separate 'power toys' type download.

Speck,

I don't need to use this at this particular point in time, however; GREAT FIND!

Later,

Matt!

After I did the process of uninstalling and the soft resets my picmail has worked great so if anybody else is having trouble do this it works....

I had this problem on my TP and what seemed to mess it up was changing the operator text "Sprint" to whatever i wanted...... i'd change it back to "sprint" from my custom text and wala i could receive picture mail again.

Yep, that is the case. Don't use personalizer

Well I'm trying the deleting and reinstalling both 3.5 and Picturemail, but I noticed that if I delete a picturemail that say's "pending", it sends it instantly.

I have had the worst time trying to get my pic mail to work on stock sprint rom, using 3.5 w/pic update. I have done every method in this thread, the only thing that has worked thus far is i just recently installed arcsoft. still havent seen how recieving will work, but others say it works great

So have it been determined yet if the problem is .NET 3.5 or the Personalizer app? Or both?

YMMV, but .net 3.5 worked fine with my Picture Mail. But I'm using Arcsoft MMS now. Works SOOOO much better and integrates into the standard messaging system.
