Re: Grayed out LED notification options fix
My LED already flashes after notifications. Is it suppose to change colors or something?

Download the cab and install Not sure what it does by default but this gives you the option to have it flash for a set period of time. I don't remember if it does anything by default or not. |

Re: Grayed out LED notification options fix
After you install these reg edits, are you able to control the behavior of the notification, such as the notification time? Also is the only notification light at the D-pad or is there another one somewhere on the top area?

Yes, you can control how long the light flashes for, and no, there's no LED n the top area, if you're talking about what's in the speaker hole, that's the light sensor

Re: Grayed out LED notification options fix
OK, I did the reg edits.
Still, after a bit, the notification stops blinking. I have confirmed it does this for new email coming in through Direct Push from my Exchange Server. But have not confirmed it with any of the other reg-edits. I 'really' need the device to KEEP blinking when I have new work email. I don't like checking it every 2 minutes, etc... My job kinda requires me to stay on top of my emails, lol. Any ideas anyone, any other info I can give that can help diagnose this? Thanks! |

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=38074 When people tried it, they discovered that "unlimited" does not work. The phone seems to blink for 30 minutes or so and stops regardless of a 60-minute or unlimited setting. I presume that this is due to some sort of "deep" sleep that turns off/override the LED settings. It helps, but it does not keep the LED on forever. |
