Insurance is $7/mo and won't interfere with your plan. But you can't use it till 30 days after you buy it.

I 'm waiting on telesales for the exchange of my diamond for the TP. My diamond I have to say has been great and YES, the hard buttons are raised slightly on it also but it's even all the way across so it's no big deal. When I get the TP, if it looks like those pics, i will be livid! I'm not paying 300 smackaroos for a jacked up phone and I shouldn't have to "live with it". I will continue to trade it in till my phone works and looks to my liking to a certain point. I mean if it's got a small scratch on the side or even the back "squeeks" a little, then so be it, I can live with that. Would ANY of you buy a NEW car for $30,000 that the molding was peeling up? Or the paint was peeling off? I wouldn't. Would be straight back to the dealer saying fix it.

Mine is a good 1/3 of that picture.

Once I added a screen protector it is basically flush. But I do have a bad earpiece :(
Overall this phone is everything I expected it does everything I did on my Titan at the speed I thought it should.

It is sure an amazing difference when you leave the HTC UI and go into microsoft's. Reminds me of going from a paved road to a dirt road.

I took one of mine back that had that issue as well as others. because the part sticking up was snagging on the case and clothing i actually saw the orange wire covering on the inside next to the light. and got another one that has no problems at all.

Weird, I have no such problem. Mine is perfectly flush, and so far everything hardware seems impeccable.

Keep in mind that what we're seeing here is the very VERY first batch of TPs, products of this kind always have very low yields during first batches and suffer from a variety of different random defects. Only after a bit do the sources of these errors and the QC checkers get better and start nailing down everything, and only then do yields really pick up. I think the one in the picture is a bit crazy broken, but if that's really the case, just go return it and get a new one.

Whenever you first start using a new or used phone from Sprint, you have the first 30 or so days to get insurance for it :)

My replacement TP that I picked up today from BB is great. No irregular sounds, no out of place buttons, speakers sounds good although it could be a tad bit louder, and most importantly I can answer "all" of my incoming calls now.

The phone is 700, the least they could do is make sure it LOOKS good. They're competing with the iPhone, which pretty much has no design flaws. I don't see why it's your problem if people want to be picky about what they spend their money on. Just lay off and let people talk. If you don't care, DON'T POST!

Wow that looks unnaturally "high" if u will. My navigation panel buttons arent nearly as elevated as that it barely notice it at all but that seems like something thats cause for an exchange maybe..idk
