My home made cable lets me charge while using the TV-out. It was quite easy, I just re-aranged the wires inside this splitter:

And then plugged in the headphone adapter that came with my Touch Pro, and then plugged in a 4-pin 1/8" to RCA adapter which plugs into the TV.

These are not cheap, but it was the BEST screen protector I have ever used... I chose the anti-glare for my Touch, if I get one for the TP, then I would choose the Cyrstal Clear... They don't have the TP listed that I can find, but I am sure the Diamond will suffice for size and shape...
I will second this, I use the Crystal Clear protectors from there also. I even drive there to have them installed.

Can you make a tutorial? I would rather not destroy any more plugs. The one I went after might be salvagable in the morning when I get to work, but who knows...

Re: Crappy OEM Touch Pro case

The TP has a magnetic sensor which activates the screen when you remove the sylus
Not to get into the middle of this, but a point of clarification. The wake on stylus removal is triggered by a physical switch, nothing magnetic. The magnet just draws it in. If you look in the cut out when you pull the stylus out there is a small switch that triggers the on function.

Back to the cases, I just got a magnetic HTC case from Best Buy for the pro. It is basically the case that came with the pro except leather and magnetic which makes it a lot nicer

Re: Crappy OEM Touch Pro case

hmm, switch, so that could wear out?

I mentioned this in another thread, I'd like to see a cross-reference to other similar-sized devices. The first one that comes to mind is the Zune, that looks close. Actually, i think that may be a bit bigger.

I too felt the mogul case was quite nice. the touch pro case just seems so out of place.

Sure could, just like every other button on the phone, as well as the sensor that turns it on when you slide it open.
