Re: Battery & Performance hacks - all cabed up for my friends

Is anyone able to get consistent 2 days of battery without recharging? Mine lasts 24 hours consistently, but there is no way it will last over night without recharging. Sucks for me because I often have to be in the hospital on call over night, and charging my phone is not the most convenient thing to do.

Re: Battery & Performance hacks - all cabed up for my friends

hey the reason no one is knowinf if this works is because the cache is upped to inprove performance with the battery enhancement. All this is meant to do is make your phone faster without losing battery life faster.

once this program is d/l on your phone your system will be using almost 48% of it compacity while without it you are usually at 40-42%.......so you can have the same battery life and a faster performance because more stuff is allowed to to be stored on your front cache ect. then normal.

so in my opinion it works, you just wont notice it because you will be running with a faster phone, with the same battery life, if someone would just have the battery hack/cab then I think this would be more efficient for use all if we only want better battery life!

Re: Battery & Performance hacks - all cabed up for my friends

I have installed this onto my TP...and it does seem to offer a bit more battery life but nothing which is out of this world. It will not double the life (not even close), but it may give you and hour or so of more talk time.

Well I haven't performed these tweaks back onto my phone (I'm on day 6 of my experiment of reverting to the stock ROM), but I had done it before. Not sure if I was really seeing much improvement with them, but I didn't really try to gauge it, just threw it on and hoped for the best.

Since hard resetting I've had the following usage:
charged to 100%, drained in ~14 hours
charged to 100%, drained in ~12 hours
charged to 100%, drained in ~12 hours
charged to 100%, drained in ~14 hours
then some magical switch got flipped and
charged to 100%, drained in ~40 hours
charged to 100%, it has been ~32 hours now, and I'm at 20% battery life left

I've barely been using the phone, though, with only maybe 10 minutes of voice calls, and maybe 10-20 minutes of web surfing (I'm trying to just see how long I can get it to last before doing tweaks). Under "normal" usage patterns I'd imagine that I'd probably only get to maybe the 24 hour mark.

I'll try to remember to report back after performing these tweaks (I'm going to put them on after I do my next charge...though I might wait until monday morning to keep things as consistent as possible)

Hey does anyone know if these tweaks are incorporated in any custom ROMs - especially Juicy's?
