hkcu/software/microsoft/today/keys/112

change the "Default" key to whatever you want it to say, change the "Open" key to whatever program you want it to open..

hkcu/software/microsoft/today/keys/113 is for the Right SoftKey, if you dont have this folder, just create it in the "keys" folder, and then create the "Default" and "Open" Keys within that folder, just like the "112" folder that is for the left SoftKey..

That works for the regular today screen, but what about for those of us that still have touchflo enabled? I want to change the right soft key in the home screen in tf3d. Right now it's a shortcut for the programs tab, but I want it to launch mobile shell instead. Does anyone know?

This is for the Calendar link? I didn't even know we could change that. I tried doing this and don't see any changes after a reset. I'm trying to get S2U2 on the home screen. Changing the calendar link would be great since it doesn't open up with the month view.

I've changed the phone soft button before and can't find the thread for it. The phone soft key is stupid since it's the same thing as hitting the hard phone key.

Re: Remap Home Soft Keys?

i put "iexplore.exe" (for IE) as my link under "Open" for the left soft key (Folder "112").

if you are typing a program file's path, make sure its the whole path. the only reason you dont need the whole path for "calander.exe" or "iexplore.exe" is b/c they are in the "Windows" folder on your phone. Copy a shortcut to that program file into your windows folder and then replace it in the "112" folder in ur registry..

DiamondTweak allows you to change TF3D soft keys. I prefer this over changing the registry since I always forget where in the registry I need to go. There are other settings on this program that can be useful as well.

are there any drawbacks of diamondtweak? i used adv config before and it has some issues so im kinda paranoid about installing some of the other config apps at the moment.

None for me. Although some tweaks don't do anything.
