Weather Works i just randomly tried it and to my little hands surprised it really worked!!!!

it was down for a while but it has been back up. but some members are still having problems with getting their proper location to show.

I'll give it a try....

I just tried it out and I have yet to see a program that's informative as far as weather is concerned! Live radar, rooming in and out, seeing all saver weather, traffic, etc etc. very nice app!

accuweather provides quite a bit of weather info including animated radar and you dont need a subscription. all you need to do is scroll over to weather / menu / about / the opera browser will open / click the accuweather logo and navigate your way to a pretty robust weather set up with no subscription fee

btw... a soft reset did get the weather app to update

Mine is working without making any changes. I noticed it started working sometime this afternoon. I also did a soft reset around noon. I am not sure if the two are related or if they fixed the issue on the other end. If yours is not working, try a soft reset.

Mine started working right after I connected with Wifi. Now it updates on both.

For those wanting to undo the weather fix I posted earlier, you should be able to use a registry editor and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila. Rename the Weather.ServerURLOverride key to something else (i.e. Weather.ServerURLOverrid) and reboot. That should put it back to the HTC proxy.

If you ever need to go back, you can simply rename the key to the correct name and reboot.

I myself am leaving it at the alternate proxy as I've had very good reliability in the past with it using the old HTC home plugin.

a soft reset was needed to get the phone to start getting the updates. i was able to access the weather updates last night around 11pm or so. so yeah soft reset if you have not done so already...
