Please give a review of the gps as soon as you are able. I am interested to see if the lag issue of the diamond has been worked out.

Same with mine . . . Then i took the PLASTIC off, and now its louder than my mogul.

hopefully you pulled the original screen cover off, or put the new one on correctly. if not it will cover the earpiece and muffle the sound. atleast that was my experiance.

does the screen rotate even if you don't slide out the keyboard, like the diamond? it seems that whenever the screen is in landscape view it is with the keyboard out, does this thing have the accelerometor deal or what?

i actually think that for right handers (the majority of us), having the keyboard slide out like the apache did is more efficient/ergonomic. you can just use your thumb+pointer finger and pop out the keyboard.

yes it rotates without sliding the keyboard.

Here is a comment on the autofocus. After I got my touch pro I was attempting to take a picute, but couldnt get it to work. I was starting to get upset. evidently the plastic on the front of the TP was preventing the haptic from kicking in autofocus. I took that off and all was grand. So far this is an incredible phone, and much to my surprise TF3D is highly usable and cool, although I might want to reorder the tabs

oh i definately took that screen protector off.. hell that was my first reaction to the muffled sound... but it still is extremely dim.. i might have to think about swapping it out, im using the speaker phone more than the handset

So far I just came in with mine after paying $252 after tax. The Best Buy 20% off worked lovely :). I now have to go about setting this thing up so I'll try to post some pics later. Speaker is loud as hell damn.
