HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'm laughing with you though...that you are staring at your phone...hoping and praying that it will just all of a sudden start working...almost like me pressing F5 to refresh the screen while waiting for no2chem's rom..

Edit: mine will eventually work though..once he posts the rom

One way we want to encourage people to participate in the project is to review the project thread at xda and provide your feedback here by suggesting maybe a cool freeware tool that we can add....if there is space....etc. We have a good package of apps already in the ROM but if you recommend something that's not already in there and it doesn't affect, in a negative way, the stability or performance of the ROM then we'll seriously consider putting it in. Looking forward to your feedback and thank you guys for all your support. This ROM is for ALL of us. I love the way GSM and CDMA users are coming together for this one common project. :)

One piece of freeware I'd love to see is aim for windows mobile. I also noticed that the messaging app doesnt support emoticons which I think we all love...hated my treo 800w but miss having my emoticons at my fingertips in sms messaging

So far our plans are to include BeeJive IM App which should satisfy your need for aim as well as others needs for other IM clients

I've tried installing beejive but there is some error coming up where its asking for a key and won't allow me to use the program. Many people are having the same issue which you can see here.....http://www.beejive.com/support/forum....php?f=3&t=166

Not only that but it's also gonna remain a beta version which they have no intention of improving.....http://www.beejive.com/support/forum....php?f=3&t=509

Any alternative apps in mind? This one seems to be on its last leg so to speak

Also wondering if you guys have considered using the cody version of sms messaging as opposed to the onboard messaging app

The key issues seem to be an old issue that is fixed in our gsm rom none of the testers have had this issue and I myself have never had this issue. Also even though it is set to stay in beta it still is one of the best free multi IM clients out there
