RewardZone cards are free. You just walk in and get one. They aren't a credit card or anything, more like a CVS or Stop and Shop card.

ok, so i only quailfy for the 75 dollars upgrade. I can go register for a rewards card, but its no gaurentee that they will even take the 75 dollars off( due to their system). I can use the card that same day and get the 20 % off the phn and maybe the 75$ too?

As I mentioned in the master post if you get the phone for $367 if you use your $75 upgrade and the RewardZone card.

All you need to do is give any employee your phone number, the system will pull it up.

Here's a question... sorry if it's greedy/stupid...

I am not upgrade eligible.. I'm only 7 months into my current contract.

However, sprint has offered me a $150 discount on the touch pro, based on problems with my mogul...

is there ANY chance that I can combine that discount with the RZ discount from best buy?

I have a quick question, my billing address is in Connectict but go to college in Washington DC. Would Best Buy have any problem setting up my phone to have a Connecticut area code even though I would purchase this in Washington DC? I would be opening a new account with Sprint as I currently have Tmobile. Thanks!

The discount that Sprint is giving you is directly in their system (probably just in the notes, since the Touch Pro hasn't been released), and as tpmwr said earlier, all they can identify is what is in SNAP (see posts above). If you're not showing a 2 year eligibility for phone upgrade (has nothing to do with your contract with Sprint, but is directly connected to the last time you exercised a "phone upgrade").

According to a manager I spoke to at Best Buy, no, you cannot use your RZ discount. When they say "upgrade eligible " I believe means you are in your contract at least over a year.

Ok, I have been waiting for the TP and hope to get it at BB this Sunday. I have US Cellular now (contract expired in April) and was wondering if Best Buy will be able to switch my current number to the Touch Pro, or is that something only Sprint stores can do? If I end up signing up for a 2 year contract on the Unlimited Plan, the phone will be $299.99, unless I use the 20% off coupon, correct?

Yeah, they can port a number no problem.

Thats easy, when it gives them a box with available area codes they can click 'Change Address' and enter a CT address and your number will be from there but the bill will go to whatever the orig address was.
