The overheating will never go away unless Telus add the plate to device that Critical speaks of in the Sprint Touch Pro post.

I found the TF3D doing screwy things (not opening after multiple soft resets) about every 3 weeks, I will see if new ROM resolves it.

Also, has anyone has better success with GPS with Touch Pro, with Diamond I am having issues with Holux bluetooth GPS receiver being able to create a serial connection, the internal GPS works somewhat with Diamond, has a small lag.

Feedback would be appreciated.

Battery issues: Many of these so-called issues are non-existent. Many people complain of battery drain when they leave Bluetooth / WiFi / GPS all running in the background. I use Bluetooth for about 2 hours a day, hardly ever use WiFi, use GPS for about 90 minutes and use my device heavily for email throughout the day and I have no such issues with the battery running Juggalo ROM v0.04B on my device.

Overheating: This was a major issue with my Diamond. I *****ed and complained to TELUS and I was able to get a Touch PRO for practically nothing. Since this time, I have not had any overheating issues on my TP. The radio of this device is located above the battery, next to the camera and this simple change of location seems to have solved the issue.

TF3D: Running Juicy's ROM on my Diamond, I never had a problem with this and running Juggalo's ROM v0.04B, no issues with TF3D as well. I never really used the stock ROM so I can't speak to any stock ROM issues.

Overall, the TP is so much of a better offering from TELUS. I'm very pleased.

Re: Telus Htc Touch Pro

Ayche, you cant say that no one is having legitimate battery problems... sure, there are some people like you described, but there are others that have done everything to conserve battery but still cannot get through a day without their phone dying.

As far as overheating is concerned, the Telus radio has been reported to cause less overheating than other CDMA Pro radios
