HTC Diamond and Touch Pro to use Multi-Touch
There's a video floating around showing a user with an application called Nav Debug Tool by HTC, that depicts that the front face of HTC Diamond and Touch Pro can track finger movements, including two fingers simultaneously (iPhone style). There's no known features on the two devices that utilize this ability but with features like multi touch and accelerometer it looks like both the HTC Touch diamond and Touch Pro are going to be fully compatible with Windows Mobile 7 when it's released.=D>

Re: HTC Diamond and Touch Pro to use Multi-Touch
from the info out there the entire front of the device is multi touch. this includes both the display and underneath it. wm6 currently does not support it and that is why it's not advertised as such - possibly if/when we get an upgrade to wm7 tho. I'm sure it's just a side effect of the new screen that they are using and not done so much on purpose. it really may be nice when software support for it comes out tho.....

Yeah, I'll be missing it also... but in case you didn't know, the Touch Flow interface supports "finger" scrolling for most applications, accentually turning the entire touch screen into a scroll wheel.

Re: HTC Diamond and Touch Pro to use Multi-Touch
TouchFlo's scrolling does *NOT* equal the scrolling of the Mogul's scroll wheel... I've had both the Touch and the Mogul... its way too easy on the Touch to flick just a bit too much and have it fly to the bottom of the page...

Re: HTC Diamond and Touch Pro to use Multi-Touch
forgive if this is a noob question, but
if wm6 isnt compatible with multi-touch, would there be a 3rd party browser that allows for the use of that feature? |
