Yeah I've heard both ends... but all I can find on the net is the 7500A so that's probably what it is.

pdadb doesn't even list the processors on the CDMA variants.

Lol @ verizon's specs, sucks for them....

Yes they sure do. I got out a year ago, and STRONGLY suggest everyone else do the same.

It is intimate shared memory.

I am not sure exactly what it is though. I am assuming video memory maybe.

I found this link about ISM. I don't see how this translate to mobile phones, but it is a nice read.

Sprint told/bribed HTC to screw VZW over, ever since the 6800XV...:p

:p j/k but seriously it seems they're getting the short end of the CDMA stick, price & HTC wise.

Verizon pays for what they want. They obviously aren't shelling out enough money for higher specs.

Crazy how Verizon opted to keep the same Qualcomm processor found in the XV6800/6900 which LACKS video drivers, I wonder if TouchFlo3D is going to struggle without the drivers, probably will I mean extra Ram can only do so much.

I can say that a "very reliable" source told me that the Mogul from sprint will not be available for shipment come september.

I have a hard time believeing that the hardware is going to be custome fitted to each company's needs. this sounds a TAD bit far-fetched in my opinion.

Am I alone on this?

I am aware of SOFTWARE differences on phones, and ROMs and such, but a difference in hardware sounds a bit complicated for a production line, since they would be turning out 50 different Diamonds and Touch Pro's to cater to every carrier.

wouldn't Verizon's phone specs be just as secret and exclusive as Sprint's? Why would HTC or verizon be giving out this information to a competitor, who then releases this information to others?

I'm not trying to completely debunk this, I just think its pretty freaking fishy...

The HTC touch has different specs between the gsm and the cdma version, its 200mhz vs 400 or something like that, and different ram...

Just depends on how much a carrier is willing to pay to have a high end phone in their line...

HTC has ALWAYS made different versions for different carriers, and sometimes HTC isnt even branded on the phone for certain carriers...

God I hope they change the name from Herman to virtually anything else. I would rather have the HTC 2girls1cup phone than the Herman.
