HTC Touch Pro Hands-on Videos
Courtesy of wmpoweruser.com (found it there originally) and theunwired.net
The first video is a hands-on overview for those who dont (yet) know what this thing looks like or how it functions. Its the German version of the qwerty so ignore the misplaced Y and Z. Videos are in English though. Enjoy! http://www.theunwired.net/?item=vide...dware-hands-on The second one is the hands-on GUI video, and how Touch-flo 3D acts when you open the keyboard. http://www.theunwired.net/?item=vide...d-gui-hands-on Last edited by Tiberius85; 07-29-2008 at 07:00 PM. |

Re: HTC Touch Pro Hands-on Videos
lol, the video wont load for crap for me. only about 10 seconds in the buffers forever. obviously sprint is late as always, but they do seem to be getting it alot quicker than they usually do. its being released in september i believe the website said in the UK, so the USA getting it before the end of the year isnt really all that bad if you ask me.

Re: HTC Touch Pro Hands-on Videos
Videos loaded fine for me. Wow HTC made is seem like the Touch Pro would have more interesting features added to Touchflo3D or something else up their sleeve with this comment they made before "Unfortunately, HTC refused to show off the Touch Pro's interface -- apparently on account of some new tricks up TouchFLO 3D's sleeve that haven't already made their way into the Touch Diamond".
SMH I don't see much of a difference but I'll be subjective since that was a Beta rom he was using. Also, Landscape is terrible I hope HTC really changes that, I like how on my Mogul HTC Home is the same for both landscape and portrait. The memory menu that said 200 MB if program memory made me smile and switching from portrait to landscape and back again was the fastest I've ever seen on a WM device. |

Re: HTC Touch Pro Hands-on Videos
Wow that really looks better than the standard diamond. It seems much faster. I did not see any bogging down like in the diamond vids on CNET. This is a must have for me. What I dont understand is what is the leveler for?

Re: HTC Touch Pro Hands-on Videos
It's to calibrate the Accelerometer, there will be apps (just like on the Diamond) that use the accelerometer a-la-iPhone. Game's where you tilt the phone and the object reacts ect.
