It is going back..... after hours on the phone last night. Hopefully it is resolved with the replacement they are sending.

Though I will say the Sprint people were actually very nice, and I could understand them. The Asurion people must have been outsourced to another country or something, and I have a real hard time understanding their accents.

Just wanted to give an update...... New unit in, and worked great the first try activating it. Guess it was just a piece of **** to begin with.

Maybe I spoke too soon. My replacement is really crappy typing out my e-mails and messages either not responding, or typing the same letter like 3 times, and the speaker volume is crap. I did the audiopara file, but now people that call me complain that my phone sounds like it is on speakerphone. I really try to like the phone, but it seems as if they are one problem after another.

The keyboard thing I think is just a design flaw. A few buttons are sensitive so if you hold it too long or wiggle button it'll type out a few extra letters. The newer TP2 seems to fix this by adding spaces between the buttons.

either way i think that phone should go back, sooner or later the keyboard is gonna screw up. I had the same thing happen with my first one and didn't pay much attention. Until one day the keyboard just died, nothing would lid up so i had to buy another one since i have metropcs.....
