installed wifirouter on my touch pro, now can't surf internet from phone

I have a touch pro (sprint) with mighty mouse rom, latest version (downloaded last night).

when I installed wifirouter, I can no longer surf the internet from the cell phone (either opera or PIE). in Opera I get a "cant find remote server" error. Obvously I'm trying this when Wifirouter is not running. Exchange email works until I do a soft reset, at which point it stops

since I had nothing installed, I did a hard reset, and all browsing and email working. I've tried to instal wifirouter to work as PAM and as Data (I am paying for the unlimited data plan from sprint).

Let me know if there's anything I can look into--- my laptop fried itself yesterday, so I'm using my old back-up lappy, which does not have bluetooth, but does have 802.11g, so wifirouter will be extremely helpful over the next ten to fifteen days while Dell processes my replacement.
