bluetooth for dummies ?

TP rootrom

pc to mobile, or mobile to pc

never messed with bluetooth and so far is a HUGE PITA.

mobile sees pc but will not connect (askes for wireless stereo and/or serial port)

pc sees mobile as modem, will not connect, dial numbers i changed a few times never works.

both ways give me thier versions of "failed" when i try to connect.

Searched here for 2 hrs, tried a few with no luck.

I figure its something dummy stupid but i cannot seem to sort it out right now, and its getting to me.

Re: bluetooth for dummies ?

What are you trying to achieve? ActiveSync over BT or what?

USB works great With that said, BT does as well, just requires some more leg work.

Re: bluetooth for dummies ?

So... I'm wondering what's wrong. Where are you getting stuck? I'm assuming you've done some googling/searching the site first...?

I'm also assuming you either a) have a bluetooth dongle using USB or b) your lappy (perhaps desktop) has it built-in.

If you don't satisfy a or b, then forget it.
