Lil Help In The Kitchen?

Hi!

I've been trying rom after rom for my touch pro, and I'm getting tired of switching... I just couldn't seem to find the right rom for me.

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or just help to get me started in the kitchen. I downloaded Juicy 8 Kitchen, and I'd really like just get the general idea of what I need to do to build my own rom.
