alltel to verizon settings and more.

Im a alltel to verizon customer. And my i.p. address shows alltel still. Should i be showing verizon. Also would my internet be faster if it was a verizon data settings. Are there others settins for the converetd touch pros users i need to know. i have april 17 energyrom. thanks for any help.
