Voice Commander Turning On & Off when Connecting to HTC 3.5mm Cable

Hi everyone, first off I am running NFSFAN 6.5.5 Windows Rom. I recently connected the phone to the adapter (image is attached) as I have in the past with my mogul in order to connect to my cars radio. For some reason the phone plays the audio fine via the cable but the Voice Commander constantly is turning on. Does anyone know what is causing this?

I went into Voice Commander and even went as far as turning it completely off and rebooting. But regardless as soon as I hook up the cable I comes back online.

The cable btw has 3 hook ups. One goes into the usb in the phone, then the other jacks consist of a usb jack, an audio 3.5mm out jack, and headphone usb jack. With the mogul I connected the 3.5mm to my radio and the usb to power the phone and charge it.

Can't figure out why voice commander is getting called.

My touch pro did this also and a hard reset didn't even fix it I had to reflash hasn't done it since

Hey tank thanks for the reply. Wow so you had to reflash. Thing is I just flashed to this ROM a few days ago (NFSFAN) rom. I think this may have something to do with with the pin assignment in the wire but I am not sure.
