Sprint Touch pro flashed for alltel?
I have a Sprint Touch Pro with a bad esn. Can I use it on the Alltel network if I flash a stock Alltel Rom? If so: I have it unlocked and have energy rom installed now for sprint, would I have to re-lock it or can I simply relock and install an alltel rom? Thank you!

It depends on your area. Most alltel markets are now VZW, and neither VZW or Alltel will import another carrier's ESN. You would not need to relock it.

So I should just flash a stock alltel rom and thats it? Then just call to have the esn switched?

thats what I am trying to figure out. Does anyone have any experience with the esn being bad for sprint but working for alltel or verizon?

verizon used to have a policy of doing this as part of thier open network, but ive never seen anyone successfully have it done.

It's been a couple of years since you could bring an outside ESN to a carrier. You can thank the Iphone and those who cracked it for other carriers for this.

You can try calling them, but I can guarantee you they will not bring the ESN in.
