WCELOAD broken, cabs wont install

has anyone ever found a fix for wceload? something happened that put wceload in my startup folder so whenever I turn on my phone i get a blank white screen. After I deleted it out the phone worked fine except now I cant install cab files. i click em and nothing happens. When I try to run the .exe from PC to install over activesync I just get a blank white screen on my phone again.

Is there any other way to install cabs without wceload? seems everyone had to hard reset to fix this issue. I dont feel like redoing all my apps...
