.net CF 2.X registry problem

Ok so I outright admit being a dummy. Fairly new to the Windows mobile OS I got a little over-excited installing .net CF 3.5 and wrongfully assumed I didn't need 2.0 anymore. When trying to force my phone to accept 3.5 only I irrationally flattened the entire registry folder of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactF ramework Turns out there's some entries that are NOT resorted by re-installing the 2.0 framework files from microsoft which also seem to be an OLD 2.0 version that what was on my phone!

can anyone help with proper cabs and registry entries to get my programs working (using netcfcfg.exe to force applications that need 2.0 to use 3.5 had no effect)
