Need help - phone won't sync with PC

I have a Sprint Touch Pro running Energy Rom 6.5 (Nov. release). Recently my phone stopped syncing with my PC. At first I noticed that new appointments I added to Outlook were not showing up on the phone. I tried deleting the pairing with the PC (File->Delete Mobile Device) and re-pairing the phone. All that did was copy old info from the phone to the PC. I tried a couple of other things (including multiple restarts of phone and PC, and more stuff that wish I could remember now) but all I managed to do was clear all of my Tasks from the phone.

When I connect the phone, ActiveSync fires up and shows the device syncing, and does not give any errors. I can also use ActiveSync to Explore the phone and see all of my files, etc. It just won't transfer PIM data from the PC to the phone. Any suggestions???

sounds like you have it set to overwrite the computer with info on the phone. try changing this setting to overwrite the phone with whats on the computer:

plug your phone in to the usb, let activesync fire up and connect.
after it does it's sync, goto tools>options
click on settings, where it says "If there is a conflict: " choose "Replace item on device".
