m3u file

I am trying to get the m3u file to work on my wife's touch pro. It just downloads but doesn't launch. It may be that the file type needs to be associated with a program but I can't figure that out. If I click on the file, the TP tells me to use an application to locate it and associate it, but I can't find the file using media player. I have seen other similar threads, but no real solution. I tried skyfire, but maybe I just need to learn more about that. I would rather use media player so I don't have multiple programs which do similar things. Any help would be appreciated. Rex

it looks like tcpmp and windows media should be able to play them.
