Is there a way to fix this without getting a new phone?
Sorry to bring up an old thread, but rather not make a new one. I was doing a lot of crap to my phone, decided to see the pictures, noticed the red dot, then just looked at the camera pretty close and see it as well, not nearly as bad as the thread posters, but still annoying. Considering I use my phone for a Camera when I need pictures.

My problem is my phone is a non refurbished Touch Pro and I've had problems in the past with Refurished phones. I got my phone set like to perfect, exactly how I want it and I'm afraid I wont get it that way with a Refurbished phone.

If your phone's hardware is still working 100% besides the little red dot I would keep your phone. The last thing you want is receiving a refurb and having tons of hardware problems.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of too. I'm sure I can just touch the picture up by painting a color dot or blending the color in.
