yeah, I guess I can see the benefit there. I'd tap that. :)

If you're still having trouble with data on the latest xdandroid system, you can also try going to:

Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

and adding one with name: Android and APN: internet. I think everything else can remain 'not set'. I think it'll reboot when you finish setting it.

Seems to have worked for me and at least one other person. Hopefully it doesn't mess anything up. Or you can just wait for babijoee to update the apns-conf.xml in the next couple days, and skip the xdandroid.4.02 package entirely. That's the smarter choice, I'd say.

Tested overnight, no time drift. Thank you again, Makkonen.

Ok, I can't assign ringtones because none show up when I try to change them. I see them in my SD card. Does anyone have ringtones working?

Hey guys just wanna post this, but ive been using the files on here with this build, http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=624808&page=8 its stable and has a custom theme! I got a somewhat stable cdma connection on the 2/3 zimage! It resets when downloading from market place but always finishes download on next boot up. Try it out worked for me even tho its made for the blackstone!

The XDA Mirror to Glossy Theme Android Eclair: http://www.mediafire.com/?5ujecvtzfny
CDMA RAPH800 Cellular South

Testing new zimage will post results.

Note: Use The startup you always have, just with a force_cdma=1 in it, and 3g is locked on

Results: Boots up is a hella lot faster, weather loaded up in like 5-6 seconds after full load up, not bad at all!
Market Test on Glossy Rom with 2/4 Zimage: Passed on like a 400kb file / Downloaded And installed no Reboot :D

Test 2, tune wiki updated: File Size 1.21MB / Results: Pass ;)

Microphone without Calling before boot / Result: FAIL :'(

Microphone with Calling before boot /Incoming and Outgoing: Pass

(correction) Works fine! Once I found how to add a new APN: click on the Home button and the "New APN" pop up comes out... I have so much to learn of the interface!

Also, the backlight boots up with the correct brightness, but once the phone goes to sleep, brightness stays at the lowest level, ignores whatever setting I define. Quite annoying. Anyone faced this? A fix?

At last with this build, WIFI no longer works.

Thanks a lot!

And To get Ringtones, Download from the Market Mabelo Ringtones, download like 2 or 3 ringtones, and now when i turn up the volume on my phone i hear the Boop noise! I dont think it was there before

Also on XDA Eclair page.
"Works! Checked my SDCard for files with strange characters, then started media scanner in Android via "Dev Tools" -> "Media scanner". Now all ringtones are choosable! Thanks a lot for research and hint and for the character scanner tool"

Screen turns off before it can get done scanning, idk might work
