Not to stop your rant dead in its tracks or anything, but dude, chill out. Something is up with your device. Booting Android doesn't work that way.

please feel free to post a video of that. winmo hardly works at 80% so i doubt this would work.

ok i'm no expert on this but from what i know, it shouldn't matter how much memory you have when you start haret because it basically clears the memory and injects itself, killing windows and anything that windows is running.

Makk would know much better as he has more experience with the raph500.

that being said, Mylt1 your best course of action at this point would be to post a logcat so we can see whats going on behing the screen.

maybe connect to adb and run a logcat so we can get the whole boot process and see where it's failing.

however if you are booting it at 60% free memory, what is the issue again?

From the banter, it seems it'll boot at 60%, but fails to boot consistently when he's at 65%...

I have a feeling there's more to it than that...

I wouldn't say I agree with any one political party, but let's leave that alone.

I never said you had to prove it with a video, that was on you buddy.

I'll leave the derogatory comments at the door for this post, lest this goes downhill much much faster...

Politics has it's place, and it is not here. I have ran 6.1 as well as a couple 6.5 ROM's and booted into Android just fine with my CDMA RAPH800 from fresh boots as well as with a couple days run-time in WinMo (currently only using my stock 6.1 with hardly anything installed since I use Android 90% of the time). Correct me if I am wrong, but the 500 has a good deal less RAM than the rest of the Touch Pros, so 65% of what you have would be a lot less used RAM than 65% on an 800. If someone with an 800 can launch Android with heavy RAM usage, which would be more used RAM than on yours, perhaps you have some bad RAM or something?

I agree that something is wrong with your setup if it can't boot at 65%, but I do not think it is an inherent Android problem judging from what I have seen since I started following the IRC channels/wave/forums for the devs back at the beginning of the year.

Now, instead of turning this into more of a bickering contest, lets try to find out what is going on with the device a little more. Post the logcat like hamagc suggested so we can look at it and see a little more of what is going on under the hood.

you know what, your just not worth my time. you refuse to believe something even with a video only because you can duplicate it. well, if you had a VZN TP maybe you could. but you would never believe it no matter what so your nothing but a waist of time. keep looking for that forest while your staring at the trees.

65% mem or the sprint version of the TP leaves a LOT more mem then on the VZN version. you cant compare the two. as far as android on my TP i give up. Arrrrghhh says i dont have a problem cause he cant duplicat it so i must not have a problem. im not going to worry about it. so thats that.

I think that you guys should take this in PM. Some people, like myself check this for updates/news/bugs and we don't need you guys cluttering it up with no an so important argument. Kind of annoying the last 3 pages where you guys fighting. Lets try to stay on topic, and have a good evening :)
