Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
Well just booted the 1/22 package and I can that backlight issue is not fixed I still need to turn it off in winmo before i can get it working. on the other hand everything loaded up very smoothly. and I had no trouble signing in to my google account once the 3g icon popped up. the first boot did take a really long time though.

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
ok second boot of 1/22 pkg and wow!
the screen worked for me. didn't dim, though i didn't turn the screen off to see if it stayed dim when i turned it back on so i can't really confirm anything on that. slow slow slow! it takes about 30 seconds before i can touch anything on the screen and have it register. i am getting no svc at all. finally had to reset cause i couldn't do anything. |

EDIT was looking through my storage card and i noticed i had made a mistake i copied the eclair congif file into the wrong folder by mistake i copied it again to the right folder and the screen works perfect! |

Oh and GPS does work if your not on WiFi. I left my house and drove to a friends and it picked where I was up. For some reason if I'm on my WiFi at home I'm in between two schools in Tulsa, OK. Have not tested BT.
EDIT: anyone try using the force_cdma=1 in startup.txt? |

EDIT: My wifi was not broken prior to this rootfs. I seem to be getting a lot of the ANR's again. |

Re: Linux/Android on CDMA Touch Pro (RAPH800) - PRE-ALPHA (not yet usable)
My only problem now is that the capacitive touch won't work, so I can only get Up/Down out of the buttons along the bottom.
