lol arrrghhh i just noticed that your info has it listed as touch pro (ppc6950?). lol the 6950 is the diamond. the touch pro is the 6850. not sure if you did that on purpose lol.

Came from the 6700... I had a Mogul, they kinda started straying away from the numbering system with that device. I guess to make it more friendly. I put up 6950 cuz that made sense in my head, not sure why they would make the diamond the 6950... No one's ever corrected me (surprisingly) so I'll fix it, thanks :D

Probably won't last you all day. GSM users are reporting up to 10hrs of life, but that's probably mostly if not entirely idle. I get about 5 hours at best, again mostly idle. If I use it a lot, less than 3 hrs.

You may want to stick with the 2.0.1 builds... they're more stable in the sense that most of the devs are working on that build. The 2.1 builds just seem to be a plaything.

the most current 2.0.1 build is the aio package posted in the first post of this thread.

+1. Most (on PPCG) seem to just be replacing the sqsh file to get 2.1, so if you did that then you're running 2.1. If you just grabbed the AIO and didn't modify it, you're running 2.0.1.

Yea, it's not bad. The so-called "Rosie" builds with Sense are atrocious... I mean the builds are beautiful in the UI sense, but everything is ridiculously slow...

And on 2.1 I'm having an issue where I almost constantly get force closes on gapps... and all the related gapps die. I've been sticking with 2.0.1, it's the most usable for me.

that is what I got when i was merging sense with our android :( I love sense but I like speed and responsiveness better.

So I've been following this for awhile now and played with different builds here and there, but it never was good enough for me to use day to day, battery life wise... but I just went ahead and took the leap to a Droid, and let me say it is awesome! really snappy and an amazingly huge screen. I find it more enjoyable than the iPhone software. I encourage anyone to make the switch if you are on a carrier that has it :)
