I'm really excited about how far this project has come. I've been following the port for a long time now and I can't believe how functional it is at this point. When GPS starts working I will be running android more than windows. Everyone working on this is doing awesome work.

ok just installed the new version on my touch pro, no issue on install, and so far everything is working great... data is amazing wifi is great.

anyone know if contacts can be imported some way from outlook.

also having a issue with the background wallpaper.. it wont change and the stock paper is smaller, it has black bars top and bottom, like its wide screen...

the phone dialer seems to have larger numbers than the screen numbers 1,2,3 are partilly hidden under the the section where the dialed number shows up

Export your outlook contacts into a csv file. Upload that file onto your gmail account. Simple as that. Download either Facebook Sync or SyncMyPix if you want facebook pictures for your friends (IMHO SyncMyPix is far superior)

This is an LCD density (resolution) issue. When I changed mine back to 210 to get pandora and facebook to show up in the market, it sized the dialer correctly. I guess its just a trade-off at this point.

Set lcd.density=210 in the startup file if you want the dialer to fully show. it will make all of your icons smaller.

I don't know if it's the same but this is how they got it working on the tp2.

This is awesome. I've been watching this project for a few months but I never tried it until yesterday. I can't believe how usable it is! Is there any plans to implement GPS and camera? If those two things happened I would use this way more than Windows Mobile.

This is really great. I've been wanting to try Android for a long time, and now I can.

Everything from that should also apply to the RAPH800. Chrialex said it just worked for him without setting anything, so be sure to give that a try. phh pushed a change to the RIL code that might cause it to get the PPP authentication settings from the APN data, so give that a try, too (those changes haven't made it to the RHOD400 RIL yet, AFAIK). Otherwise, use the instructions from gmfeny's link.

Plans is a strong word. :-) There is hope and there is interest in implementing them. I'm sure at some point it will happen. I'm not sure when or how.

The latest kernel builds have been fairly nice on the battery, but have been more unstable. I'll need to check dmesg to see if it has any interesting errors.
