umm... hello? Talon... so why pray tell would I be looking for the 2016 sms fix in a sms LAG forum when I have no issues with LAG?

Oce you get to the HTC Support site (go back in that link to /us/support), you can select your device and see if there is a fix yet. I downloaded the fix for an Alltel TP this morning. I have an Alltel TP that was assimilated during the merger. Ran the fix. Now to see if texts are stamped correctly...

guess there is still not fix for VZN users. all i get now it the date, no time on my text. there is no fix posted on HTC's site for VZN but there is for everyone else. bad enough HTC hung us out to dry with crippling the VZN TP but now they wont even fix the problems. this is just great. good thing i dont have $600 sitting around. if i did i would be jumping ship to the moto droid. and i HATE moto.

I have Alltel, called them and they stated it is a problem with their system and they are working to correct it. Now i'm not sure they can cause it sounds like sprint has the same issue...maybe and htc problem

it is even more widespread than that. this is affecting most carriers and HTC and LG phones. I am shocked that this kind of thing can be an issue for so long with no official fix. it has been almost a month

Can anyone valch and say the HTC Fix actually works and is decent? I haven't done it yet and I have the older rom version.
I've heard some bad things about the new Stock Rom Update, I'd like some opinions on it before I flash. :/

There is a hotfix on the htc site for alltel and it works for me

HTC has a fix for everyone EXCEPT VZN. shocker there.
