Weird thing for me was that it did it with all of the text notifications that I received but I got a couple of pictures and they had the correct date.

email seems to be okay too, just SMS seems to be affected

Same here on Sprint TP MR all stock no custom SMS apps. Texts from 1/1/16

I called sprint about this, then they lead me to tier 2..they couldnt figure it out..so they gave me the number to HTC...

Count me in too.

I'm on Telus running a stock rom and it's 2016 for me too. I'm really disappointed my car didn't fly this morning and my hover board malfunctioned and I ended up rolling down a hill.

Hopefully a cab will be forthcoming soon.

Seems to be working fine for me. Granted, the first text I received today was just now and from my wife's Moto Q9C. I'm running my own custom ROM from Calkulin's kitchen.

My sister and I are experiencing the 2016 texts as well. Mine is a custom ROM, hers is stock.

I also received duplicates and triplicates of a few texts last night as well. Everything seemed to hit the fan around 12:30am CST- I have texts with the correct time until about then.
