Re: barebones ROM?

I'm going to cook a new ROM this morning using Raid's kitchen and you guys are more than welcome to try it out if you want. I take out almost everything that isn't needed, i'd rather add cabs after if i want certain things in (including office, voice command, myphone, etc...). The last Manila 2.5 ROM i cooked boots with almost 130MB of free RAM. I'm downloading the 28014 sys now to use.

Let me know if you'd be interested and i'll post it up after i run it a bit and make sure it's good to go.

thanks! yeah it produces a fast ROM. call me crazy but I say my 2.5 is faster than my 2.1 (smoother operation of the slider, etc)

Well here it is, working great for me. Again, Raid did ALL of the hard work on this ROM, all i did was delete stuff i don't use to make the ROM smaller.

Head on over to this thread and give him some thanks.

I just picked up a Verizon TP that only has 192mb of RAM. I am going to try this ROM cause all the fully loaded ROMs barely run, almost unusable...will let you know if I like it.

You'll have to run a Verizon provisioning cab on it because it's set up out the box for Sprint, other than that you should be fine.

So...I think I may have bricked my phone. Its probably my own carelessness, I wasnt sure what do do with that nbh file so I just overwrote it into the folder of a different rom, flashed, worked but then stuck on please wait, phone is starting up the last 30 minutes...

Update: Just figured out the hard reset, its reflashing now, PHEW!!!!
