after new skyfire, can't open Opera?

looking for a little help,

I got the new skyfire and it's miles better than the old version, but the lack of multiple tabs is bugging me so I want to leave it on, but make Opera 9.7 (cooked in to energy rom) my default browser again...
So I go to open Opera and it won't open.
anyone else had a problem like this?
anything I can do other than uninstalling skyfire?
