I have, love Kinoma play, just trying out something new. I have not yet tried it on my TP2 though, will give it a try and report back.

There's a couple parts to the realtime streaming quality equation:

Orb's "upstream speed" setting on your PC. Go to http://mycast.orb.com/, click Settings, then go to General > Streaming Speed. Make sure your Upstream Speed is reasonable for your broadband connection and the quality you're trying to achieve. (I set mine to 1500 kbps.)

Your phone's data connection. Kinoma Play (and FreePlay) have a continuous "quality of service" conversation with Orb on your PC while you're playing media. The goal is to provide the highest-quality playback possible under always-changing network conditions, so the quality can change while you're listening.
