Re: Touchpro 2 Waterproof case
i bought this aqua pac, waterproof case/bag thing. says 15ft deep, floats, i believe if not misused, 100% replacement plus device, again if not misused an cause is faulty product.
i havent used it yet, but i got it 4 when i go to the beach to keep water/sand out and 4 the boat. i planned on testing it be4 i use it 4 my phone just as reassurance. but i know when i had my vogue, i always wish i had sumthing like it expecially 4 the sand. lived in hawaii so always at the beach boat sandbar. now in florida so, not year round here but cant wait to use it. |

Re: Touchpro 2 Waterproof case
I have one of these and have had it for many years now (bought it for my Thera PDA/phone...that's how long!).
I am in the wilderness in a canoe or kayak for extended periods for my job. I wanted something that would keep my phone from being damaged due to being crushed or from moisture. Originally Otter's ad showed this case being ran over by a vehicle and also submerged in 10' of water. You can buy replacement membranes for the front along with new O-rings for the case seal. Another side note about this case, I called the manufacture when I was thinking about purchasing and asked them some questions. I asked them if you could hear the alarms through the case, their response was no. After I purchased this case, I found out you could hear through the membrane AND communicate through the membrane...no need to remove your phone! I have used this case with the Audivox Thera, XV6700, XV6800, and now the HTC PT2. Last edited by VFMA; 01-10-2010 at 10:21 PM. Reason: removed quote |
