MightyROM + Manila 2.5 = BEST ROM EVER!!!

Juicy's 2.5 is the best 2.5 hands down in my opinion. I like the feel of his rom too, very well put together. I would like to see Mighty come out with a 2.5 but it is to be expected there would be issues with no landscape support. I have to admit, it is fun to play with 2.5. They added some great features and really filled in most all gaps to the windows mobile ui.

2.5 will not support landscape. PERIOD.

If Mike doesn't want to make a 2.5, then accept it.

I think they were referring to rotastains hack for landscape 2.5 support. IIRC he built the landscape tabs from scratch.

Really? Do you mean that you can build a ROM with 2.5 that defaults to the WM SMS client in threaded mode (including clicking on the text in the middle when a new message comes in)? That alone would make me reconsider using Manila 2.5. As it stands right now SMS is terribly broken and either slow (HTC) or crappy (WM classic) in every Manila 2.5 build I've seen.

Yes I agree they are slow.

I'm not too advance into this, but I love how MightyRom has the Programs tab that I can add a couple dozens of favorite apps to. The Manila 2.5 has only 9 spaces to add programs which is pretty limiting.

I'm running Juicy myself (& I love it), but it is hardly "perfect" if you do a lot of MMS/SMS (I have both working just fine, but they worked an awful lot better in the Mighty setup I was running previously).

That's simple enough to change, just add the cab that changes that to 26 programs & then you always have the start menu for everything else.

Agreed, that is the one & only thing that is pushing me to go back to Mighty from Juicy's awesome ROM.

same here... i love juicy's rom, but after loading a few things and it starts to slow quite a bit, and texting becomes a hassle i just switched back to mighty... both great roms... not juicy's fault that manilla wont work right...

I am running NRG energy ROM, build Oct. 23rd. Given I dont use MMS but the HTC messanger client never lags up to badly. It is just as fast as 2.1, I just turned off the weather animations. I will have to do some research on Juicy's and when its time to flash again try that one.
