Something like this in conjunction with the light sensor might be handy.

Works like a charm in the 6.5 stock ROM on TD2.

I think this is a cool feature, and it's easy to toggle when walking. I guess if you're in an office or somewhere where you set the phone down, then it would be useful. Lol, I guess I'm just looking for a good reason to use it.

On a similar note, I have a feature (EnergyROM 28004) below the "Quiet ring on pickup" that says "Pocket mode: Increase ring volume while in pocket or bag". I haven't noticed this to work properly, but it seems cool!

This broke my ringtone :( I enabled this tweak & my ringtone went completely silent until I disabled it. I'm sad, I want to use this feature. It would be very handy to avoid situations like the one I had at work last week. My ex called me at work & my phone started blaring 80's video game music & everyone stared at me. Embarrassing.

Here is a cab that will give you the option to turn "Be Polite" on and off in the sounds settings from the manila tab.

Tested and working on MightyRom, Stock USC Rom, and Juicy Rom.

Should work for all Manila 2.1 Roms. -- Will NOT work on Stock Sprint.

Give it a shot. Be sure to soft-reset after install.

Give it a shot and let me know your results!

Thanks
.

The option is only available through the TF3D interface. It would not be practical to integrate it into another app because it would require coding of a new plugin for what you're using.

Works randomly

Hi all,

I have a stock WM6.5 TP2 (WWE, unlocked) and this works randomly - sometimes it's making the ringtone quiet, sometimes it doesn't. No matter what setting I have for "Single Volume". It works all the time on the first call after a soft reset ](*,)

Any ideas what is happening?

Thanks and regards,
Radu
