About 3 seconds in the microwave should do it.

Re: best way to brick tp2

i did that to my tp1 and i toke more the a hard reset to fix it. to fix i believe you have to have a good ROM that for the phone you want to flash for example cdma tp2 requires a cdma tp2 ROM. then you have to set up your computer ready to flash and set you phone ready to receive a ROM meaning in the red, green, and i think white i don't remember right now. to do that you need to hold the send and end key press the reset button and press up on the side out keyboard to be able to get it to the three color screen.

Re: best way to brick tp2

Well, first off...coming on here and announcing your intentions to commit fraud probably isn't the samrtest thing to do. And I doubt anyone will publiclly assist you.

Second, take the phone back to a different store/repair center this time and say, "This is the n'th time I've brought this phone back for the same problems. It's under warrantee...replace it."

It's that simple. If they still refuse, call Customer Retention, file a complaint against the store, and then ask to be transfered to customer service so they can facilitate a warrantee exchange.

Re: best way to brick tp2

Or call in. If your phone is crap, then you are entitled to a replacement under the warranty policy.

Tell them you've been to the store several times and that they cant seem to fix the problem. Also express your frustration in a calm manner. They will ship you out a replacement. The only downside is that you might be on the phone with Sprint for a while.

If you handle it the right way, you can also get a replacement through the store. There's no reason that you should be stuck with a phone that craps out on you. By hard resetting and giving it back to you, they are just taking the easy way out. Make them give you a phone.

Do you mean to suggest he uses Asurion? Why should he pay the $100 deductible when the phone is still under mfg warrantee.

Re: best way to brick tp2

lol fraud. i dont really think its fraud. fraud would be more like saying its stolen sim unlocking and selling it to use on att tmobile and or metropcs/cricket. i have gone to both stores and because the phone doesnt act up with them they say its fine. which is horrible. so flashing the gsm rom will work?
