Sprint TP2 with Juicy R3WWE, but not liking it.

I am new to phones and I am not liking the fact that I cannot open the phone to landscape mode because apparently this ROM doesn't support it. I have absolutely no clue how to change the ROM or anything. I would like to maybe put the stock sprint ROM on with the Clean up .cab, or some other good ROM. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I can go about changing the ROMS. And perhaps tell me which ROM is good and I am able to view in all modes(landscape and portrait). Thanks!!

Read, read and read some more. If you would have read you would know that landscape has no support on the 2.5 ROMS. Not flaming you dude but just read that is how we all learn. everyone wants a fast food type experience here but that isn't good.

Did you flash the Juicy rom yourself? If so, you can flash the stock Sprint rom to return to stock. Here's a link to the stock rom:

Your phone is probaly unlocked because someone installed Juicy on it. If you don't know how to flash roms a quick search on this forum will turn up instructions on how to flash a new rom. Read carefully, follow instructions carefully.

The rom you chose is kind of bleeding edge, not surprised you didn't like it.

If you want to try a cleaner less buggy 6.5 Rom for sprint, try CFay's rom.

no I didn't put the rom on, I got the phone with it on. Ive been online reading for about an hour.. hopefully I can figure it out and do it tomorrow..

I'll point you in the right direction man...

Install that Stock Sprint ROM linked to earlier in the thread. It's pretty easy... All you have to do is connect through activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center (if Vista or Windows 7), and then run the exe.

After you get the stock ROM installed, install and run that tweaks cab. After you do that, install SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.

Play with Mobile Shell and get shortcuts to the Navigation, Sprint TV, and all the stuff you run. Change the background and stuff too. That will get you off to a good start. By the time you get bored with it, you'll probably know what you're doing. And definitely keep reading this site in your spare time.

another thing.. if I do flash to the stock one, is the old ROM going to be taking up space on the phone still? or does it get erased when I installed the new ROM?

It gets erased when you flash the stock ROM.

You probably have to go back to stock and update profile/prl.

If that doesn't work, just call the customer rep. Flashing rom voids warranty(I think) so make sure you go back to stock first.
