Camera Picture Remainder Counter Issue

My camera remainder counder shows I have 219 remaining, and it should be a lot more. Tho when I take a picture, it doesnt change. I put a new sdhc card in with the old content, card works fine, even shows the correct memory remaining on the card itself.... just the counter on camera is borked, is there something I can delete to refresh it?

I've got the same strange issue. My phone tells me I have only 200+ photos left on a mostly empty 8gb SDHC

Spork, did you reformat the card or just use as is? I didnt reformat maybe thinking thats the issue? If you didnt, Ill try then let you know...

I think that counter is based off of internal storage for some reason. Even though you have selected to save to SD card.

I actually switched to Internal and it dropped to 80.... so Mine is def a card issue...

Well i formated card and inserted it blank and it shows I had alot of pictures left, then i added data back and went back down to 81.... im out of ideas...
