Re: Noob screw up? PLEEASE help

First try calling *228, program.

If that doesn't help the situation, then go to: Settings>Connections>select Verizon Wireless>Edit>Name for connection= Verizon Wireless>Next>Number to dial= #777>Next
User Name= your ten digit cell @vzw3g.com (with no spaces)>Password= vzw (lowercase)

Re: Noob screw up? PLEEASE help

That was my next suggestion after he tries what I suggested above.

Before installing a Verizon carrier .cab from elsewhere, look in your connection settings and see if he has cooked in a provisioning .cab that can be run just by selecting your carrier in a tab, similar to the comm manager layout. Some of the chefs have these ready to go in the rom already!

Re: Noob screw up? PLEEASE help

They may not help you man, as you have voided your warranty, lifting them of the duty of having to support your phone or help you with connectivity issues.

Try dialing *228 from the phones keypad, like you are making a call, then hit talk. See if that connects you to Verizon Programming. If it does, select 3 from the options to program the phone. Start there.

If that doesn't connect you to Verizon, we'll take the next step then.

Re: Noob screw up? PLEEASE help

You can dial *22899 that will just configure your phone and avoid prompts and buttons pressing

There are cabs posted for keyboard and MMS fixes just a few post below the ROM download

Take your time a read through the postings thoroughly next time before flashing or creating a new thread. You really could have answered your own questions by just reading.

http://thewingster.com/Documents/Ver...oard%20Fix.cab <--- keyboard fix for verizon
http://thewingster.com/Documents/MMS...0(Verizon).cab <-----MMS fix for verizon

Soft reset afterwards

First of all, dont panic. So you jumped the gun. You flashed your phone without taking the time to learn about the process. While not recommended to do so it is what it is. It certainly dosnt sound like you bricked your phone so i wouldn't worry. There are plenty of things you can do to try and remedy the situation. What you can't do, as Santod explained to you, is to go to your providor with an unlocked phone. Your warranty is void unless you can get the stock rom put back on and get the phone locked again. I suggest taking a deep breath, calm down, and read these forums concerning putting new rom's on your phone. Have you tried a different rom? Did you hard reset after flashing your phone? Its recommended to do so after you install a new rom. There's lots of things you can try so dont sweat it.
