3 Attachment(s)
I saw there somebody wants to switch GSM/CDMA easier, here is the software for it, enjoy it!
Just click it, it will switch the network to another. It is Chinese verison, if there are more guys like it, I will make the English verison soon. Remark: 1) This software is made by www.189online.com (www.diypda.com) http://www.189online.com/viewthread....ra=#pid1332349 2) You must have the SIM card installed. 11/28 The 1.1.0 will be coming soon, it will be added data setting switch automaticlly. 11/22 Here is the fixed ENG version now. |

Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch
English would rock
|
Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch
Yeah, Chinese is pretty useless to our user base as its mostly North American users here and id say minimum 75% are English as a main language. Awesome work tho very cool. i know id like to try it.

working good anybody??
|
Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch
Eh, I've tried the english version and all it does is pop up with a box that says "Switching to CDMA1X/EVDO mode..." even though I'm already on CDMA. Kinda useless at that point.

Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch 1.0.0.2 Update
One thing.. it appears we still have to manually choose which network for the phone to join once it goes into GSM mode. Is it possibe in the program to have an option to specify the network which it joins once changing modes? I have tried adding ATT as the default one and it still won't autojoin the network.

Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch 1.0.0.2 Update
Works with verizon/tmobile networks. I also have to change modem choice even when set to auto. Thanks.

Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch 1.0.0.2 Update
just for clarification, the purpose of this program is to be able to keep an activated sim card from say, att in the phone and switch between which account/network the phone is actually running off of easily, right? or is it to actually force the phone to run off a gsm/3g network even thought its activated on a cdma network? Thanks in advance for the clarification.

yes, otherwise what are switching to and from??
|
Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch 1.0.0.2 Update
It's working now. However, when I switch from CDMA to GSM, it makes the switch but doesn't auto register me to AT&T, even though I have an active SIM card installed. I have to still go and change network mode to Manual and choose AT&T there.

Would it be possible to expand on this really cool utility specifically for Sprint users so that the program also tells the phone to join a certain network? Thank you for the application either way! |

Re: One Key to GSM/CDMA Switch 1.0.0.2 Update
hi there guys. i've got a couple of questions that i've been askin all over this forum and i think this is the closest thing to what i'm trying to ask. i have the sprint tp2 on cdma and i have it unlocked and am using both sprint and tmobile in it. i havnt downloaded this software to use it yet but i sure will now that i found it. my question is, from what i'm reading here this version doesn't automatically register on tmo or att you have to still click the button to tell it to go to tmo. is there a newer version coming out soon or is this something we will have to wait a while for. and second thing is, the phone will automatically apply tmo inernet and mms setting and you cant usually change the settings on mms when it does that. knowing that much and knowing that tmobile just switched server for mms, is there anyway we can make that change of server apply as well automatically every time we press this button. " i just thaught i would put it out there in case there is some new version coming out" it would be great for us sprint tmo customers to have some thing like that.
thank you in advance. Johnny |
