how to put tp2 into bootloader mode
 

Apparently there has been some confusion on how to put the tp2 into bootloader mode. here it is:

CDMA:
1. Take out your battery, wait 5 seconds, put it back in and DO Not turn it back on.
2. Hold down the 2 following buttons- end call ( power), volume down



GSM
1. Take out your battery, wait 5 seconds, put it back in and DO NOT turn it back on.
2. Hold down the 3 following buttons - end call ( power), volume down and hit the reset button with your stylus

I just had to do it and found that holding the power key and volume down, while pressing reset works as well, although thanks for the info jonoball88

I have found shutting the power off and holding the down volume and power buttons are the only two buttons. I need to get into bootloader mode.:(

ok try holding the power off button and the volume down and then hit the reset button with your stylus

In this order: volume down button, soft reset button, power button. Than it should go to bootloader mode. No end call button needed.

well if your not stuck somewhere and just want to put in bootloader just to flash or for whatever reason it is,do it without all that button pressing with this cab but do take the time to learn manually as you may need to know how one day

bootloader mode is the mode you put your phone into to flash. you see a tri color screen that says wether your phone is unlocked or not. it wont hurt to try this. i freaked about a yaer and a half ago with my old touchpro when i was driving down the street and picked it up and it was in bl mode. id never seen it and almost wrecked.lol. a few weeks later when i flashed for the first time i was like ohhhh!!!! thats what it is.

so I downloaded the bootloader Cab...it worked great....silly question...how do you get out of it??? I had to soft reset!!!

All you have to do is power off the device, hold the volume down button, then hold the power button until you see the multicolor screen. I do this before I flash any roms from windows.
