Sprint
Orange County ----> 300kbps - 800kbps

I used to be able to get up 1500kbps + but now i can't even get above 800kpbs. Have sprint taken down some towers to put up towers for 4G?

Anyone got any speed patch?

no idea wtf is going on. maybe i should go back to my mogul, with its broken send key. at least i was getting 1000+ kbps each and every time.

btw...you're not on sero, are you?

what does 4.5....6.777 Gs mean? So no fix/clarification after talking with a tower engineer?

Never got wacky results like that from dslreports and the highest I get there is around 2mb on a good day. Average is probably around 1mb.

lol ahh ok I see now bro...I didnt mean to come out like I was hating on your speeds but atleast ur honest ;)

How come everyone else seems to be posting way higher speeds?
I guess I can't complain, faster than my old Palm Centro (which didn't have rev. A).

I didn't like my results either, I'm going to try it in a different location, I only get 1-3 bars in my apartment, hoping it's faster outside.

yeah... i dunno.. i had much faster speeds on my tp than mogul.

u should start a poll asking people if their data is slower, same or faster compared to what they had on their touch pro. sprint subscribers only tho!

Re: www.mobilespeedtest.com post your speed

Yeah, data on my TP was way faster in general, but I get higher speeds in places that I used to just get 1x with the TP.

Re: www.mobilespeedtest.com post your speed

Considering all the optimizations the modders here do to the firmware and OS, it makes you wonder why the phones have gotten slower with internet access; maybe serverside, Sprint can detect what phone you have and throttle down accordingly. Maybe nowadays, all the phones are about the same speed and what we're remembering is how fast they were back in the day...
